Regeneration Techniques for Restoring Forest Cover on Oil and Gas Sites

The Regeneration Techniques for Restoring Forest Cover on Oil and Gas Sites guidebook provides background knowledge and tools for regeneration techniques that can be used to achieve revegetation objectives based on site conditions, seed or seedling availability and regulatory requirements. A copy of this guidebook is available with subscription to NaturalResource.ca



The Vegetation Management for Restoring Forest Cover on Oil and Gas Sites guidebook explains vegetation management tools and techniques. Natural Resources Canada Canadian Forest Service (NRCan-CFS) developed this guidebook to help with the successful restoration of disturbed in situ sites. Although the tools and techniques discussed in this guide can be applied to disturbed sites throughout the boreal forest in Canada, the focus of this guidebook is Alberta.
